All trials to be scored as gross stableford.
To be eligible for automatic selection it is compulsory to play in either the 36 hole trial on 11 September or the Western District Championships – hopefully everyone will play in both events.
Top two aggregate stableford points, 5 out of 10 scores, will gain automatic selection to the Team – this does not guarantee your playing position in the Team.
It would be appreciated if players interested in representing their Province would please ensure their intentions are notified to golfsouthland@woosh.co.nz or robynbo@ihug.co.nz of their wish to be considered for selection.
It will be necessary for all persons selected for Southland to sign the Golf Southland Code of Conduct. Anyone in breach of this Code, at any time, may relinquish the honour of being selected to represent the Province.
