Invercargill golfer Robyn Pullar will be teeing off in the          2017 Australian Senior Women’s Amateur, after being granted a place through her efforts in the New Zealand Women’s Seniors Matchplay Championships at Waihi last week.For the first time, tournament directors PaR nz Golfing Holidays (under the auspices of New Zealand Golf) confirmed a place for the leading Kiwi to represent New Zealand at the Australian tournament, which will be played in October at Maroochy River on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.Robyn was announced as the inaugural recipient of the sponsorship, as the best played Kiwi in the New Zealand tournament – and the only New Zealander to make the semi-finals. Robyn faced the in-form Helen Pascoe in one of the semi-finals, narrowly missing a place in the final.

 Division 1 Veterans Challenge Cup Robyn Pullar (Invercargill) lost in the semi-final 1 down, and Robyn Boniface (Queens Park) won Flight 1.

In Division 3, Bronwyn O’Brien (Tuatapere) won Flight 2,

in Division 5 Judy Matthews (Te Anau) won Flight 1 and Dianne Cleland (Waikaka) won Flight 2.

 Division 6,  Norma Mitchell (Wyndham) lost in the Plate final.

 Division 7, Lynette Chambers (Tuatapere) lost in the final, and Maria Copson (Te Anau) lost in the final of the Plate;  Division 8, Tina Van Engelen won Flight 2.

The tournament included 128 players, including 15 from Australia.
